Artist News.

Gallery artist, James E. Pay and his wife Eileen moved from Ontario last fall to Bedford, Nova Scotia. They are pleased to have settled in nicely in their new home in the Maritimes and both love the area. James and Eileen are providing art workshops/classes in the Halifax area and James is exhibiting his work in the area galleries. They had a short respite from their first maritime winter with a trip to Portugal in February. All the best to you both and happy painting by the sea!

Tay River Gallery is currently featuring fresh new works by James Pay with a definite "maritime flavor"; a number of delightful coastal harbour paintings including some of Peggy's Cove, painted in acrylics and watercolours. Drop in and see them soon as they won't last long.

James E. Pay, UA, was trained as an artist in Canada, UK and USA and lists the late A. J. Casson as his mentor. James is a signature member of the United Society of Artists, London, England and former vice-chairman of Central Arts, Scotland. He is known for his loose style of watercolour painting as well as his acrylic landscapes and florals. Both Jim and Eileen are founding members of the Acrylic Painters Society of Ontario.
