Paul Brown is an extremely talented Ottawa area Canadian musician who has been creating music for the past 15 years. Everything from groove based funk songs, funk/soul, jazz, folk and experimental soundscapes have been part of his repertoire. A unique and technically brilliant sound experience, Paul's music will take you into the labyrinth of where all really good music travels. This is contemporary music well worth the journey.
You can hear clips from the new Mystic Village CD " Emerge" recently produced in collaboration with Mike Conto, as well as other earlier work, Cosmic Love and Full Moon Rainbow and more recent compilations by Paul Brown. Shirley Mancino:"Converging Worlds" at Tay River Gallery

A major solo exhibition opened June 1st featuring the paintings of Shirley Mancino, Westport Ontario artist. Over 100 paintings, both framed and unframed by this talent prolific artist are on view for the month of June.

Shirley Mancino travels to Asia every winter and her dramatic figurative, landscape and abstract paintings are largely inspired by her travels. No dabbler with a paint brush, Shirley is a committed serious , hard working professional artist who also provides excellent art workshops in her studio in Westport. Her joie de vivre and passion for art are evident in her striking works.

The June issue of the Humm, Arts and Entertainment monthly features Shirley in an article "Shirley Mancino - Have Brush, Will Travel ".
